Indiana Wireless Association (IWA) has developed a statewide identity as a non-profit organization that provides an open forum for the exchange of information and ideas, the opportunity to work with and educate state and local government officials on legislative issues and benefits impacting the wireless industry and to promote the highest ethical standards of business practices and integrity among our members.
The IWA is a unified voice for the wireless industry promoting industry awareness and the positive benefits of wireless technology. It is a unified voice that educates consumers about the vital role that wireless networks play in society today and supports the enhancement of the communities we service by bringing together segments of the industry for a common benefit. It is a unified voice that cultivates and fosters relationships among its members and serves as a source of reference information on matters impacting the wireless industry.
IWA supports the development of quality networks, deployment, operation, promotion and advancement of the wireless network by educating, creating awareness and making a positive contribution to the community through the spirit of charitable giving.
IWA provides a forum to collaborate on various issues where we face challenges including infrastructure, zoning, ordinance regulations, land use, technological developments affecting network deployment, legal aspects, codes, new services and products. The member’s expertise is represented by multiple disciplines and RF Engineering, Architecture, Regulatory, Environmental, Site Acquisition, Construction, Planning, Operations, Project Management, Government Officials, Surveyors, Law Firms and Cellular Carriers.
